As a real life pilot, The Alaskan Bush Co., was created from a dream of flying the Alaskan Bush. While it has been mostly impractical for Capt. Seppi to pack up (or sell) most of worldly possessions, move to Alaska and purchase a bush plane, he did find Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, OnAir, and strong supportive community. That was all he needed to start up his own bush company. So here he is, sharing videos with the world, talking about flying in the Alaskan bush, and running a virtual airline. Join us, the Alaskan Bush Co. and Capt. Seppi, and let's haul cargo and passengers in the last great frontier.
I stream my gameplay every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30pm CST (Currently away from streaming until the first week of August 2022). Sunday morning I stream at 7:30am CST. You can follow along and ask questions, and even join in and do some bush flying with us.
Most of the aircraft we fly are considered 'bush' type planes, like the SWS Kodiak, Cessna 172, 208, Twin Otter and various other aircraft up to the Douglas DC6, which is still being actively flown around Alaska today by Everts Air Cargo and Refueling. You typically won't find us flying any of those newer jet aircraft. I mean, Delta doesn't hire pilots that wear flip flops and sunglasses. Plus during my job interview with a major airline they took offence to the cocktail I was drinking. That being said, I actually do enjoy flying the PMDG 737-700. So you will see that now and then.
Should you be interested, or so inclined to join us, we have a Virtual Airline (The Alaskan Bush Co., wonder how that happened), and we operate with OnAir on the Thunder Server/Challenging Mode.
I have more than a few tattoos, full sleeve (pirate themed), etc. Some say I have an awesome beard, I don't know, what do you think? I have been playing computer games since the 80's.
I am a real life pilot, with ratings for multiengine, and instrument. However, I no longer actively fly. I am a maker, tinkerer, and enjoy programming and game development. I code my own instruments for use on a touch screen monitor, 3D and resin print, and assemble my own electronics components, and generally tinker with anything that increases the immersion of flying. Many of those you will see in my live streams.
I am laid back, people call me the "The Dude" and compare me to the "Big Lebowski", you decide. My streams are chill yet meaningful. You are here to have fun, We are here to have fun, so mix yourself up a white russian, and let the entertainment begin. Maybe we can see (or learn) something new together. When not gaming I enjoy playing music, bowling, and hanging out with Mrs. Seppi, and our Texas Heeler.
